DAY ONE
Check-in
Welcome to The June! For the ultimate romance, we recommend booking our King Room for a touch of motel luxury. Start your vacation off by kicking back in your room. Throw on some tunes, test out your hammock and pop a bottle of bubbly. Motelier Tip: Adding a bottle of chilled bubbly on arrival is the perfect way to kick off your romantic getaway on a high note.
Once you're in vacay mode head down to the pool deck, grab your lounge chair, and soak up that late afternoon sun (maybe with frosé in hand). Once your hunger kicks in we recommend walking over to Cesaro Taco Bus for dinner. It's nearby, and they're a favourite spot of ours.

Cocktails and sunsets
Next up we recommend walking down to 1858 Caesar Bar for a cocktail. Since you're by the beach you'll want to go for an evening beach stroll - a Sauble Beach sunset is hard to beat, and experiencing a beach sunset is an absolute must during your beach town getaway.

Day two
Poolside yoga and refueling
Rise and shine, it's day two of your romantic getaway. We recommend starting the morning slowly, ideally with coffee in bed. Not the coffee in bed type? Try a run along the beach, or sign-up for one of our yoga classes if you’re staying with us on a weekend! For breakfast we recommend a quick walk to The Wellness Refinery for your caffeine fix, plus some seriously delicious and healthy eats. The classic avocado toast and the colourful berry smoothie bowl are staples for us.

Beach day
After you've fuelled up it's time to get ready for a full day on the beach - you are in Sauble Beach after all. Pack your sunglasses, sunscreen, and towels, walk down to the beach and set up camp for a day of soaking up the sun! Motelier tip: we like to walk all the way down the beach where it's a little quieter and spend the day there. We’re huge fans of having lazy, lay on the beach all day, kind of days, but if you’re looking for a little more activity then we recommend renting paddle boards or kayaks from Jack n Jills Surf Shop or Sauble River Marina and Lodge Resort. Golden hour patio dinner
After a full day of swimming, soaking up the sun, and maybe some paddle board action, time to head back to The June to freshen up for a dinner date. Once you're freshened up, head down to the Heydays patio for a romantic dinner for two. Our favourite menu items are the hot lobster roll, smash burger, and charred broccoli salad. Of course, we suggest pairing each course with a cocktail or glass of wine because #thiscallsforwine.

DAY THREE
Brunch
Did you know Heydays serves brunch? Well now you do! Heydays brunch is an absolute must, at least once, during your romantic getaway. We recommend sleeping in a bit, and making your way down to Heydays for coffee, maybe a mimosa, and their famous lobster eggs benny.
Day trip up Bruce Peninsula
Say hello to the Bruce Peninsula! The Grotto in Bruce Peninsula National Park is a half day trip and just about an hour drive from The June, and trust us when we say you won’t regret making the trip. With the turquoise waters, limestone rock beach, surrounding cliffs and never ending gorgeous views, The Grotto is the most famous spot along the peninsula and has becoming a tourist hot spot, so make sure to book your parking time slot well in advance online, For those looking for something a little more off the beaten path, pack picnic and head to Halfway Log Dump or take a boat over to Flowerpot Island.

Dinner
After your day adventuring up Bruce Peninsula, head back to The June so you can freshen up for your sunset beach dinner by Sundaze. This isn’t your average, everyday picnic experience - this carefully curated picnic experience is the ultimate way to enjoy the romance of golden hour with the one you love. This one-of-a-kind experience sells out quickly, so you’ll want to book your picnic early.

DAY FOUR
Caffeine and croissants
Good morning! It's the last day of your couple's getaway, but the fun doesn't have to end just yet. Start off your morning slow by heading down to our shop, grabbing a coffee, and putting on a record to enjoy. We recommend soaking up as much of Sauble Beach as you can while you’re here, so once you’re ready for the day and have the car packed, we recommend getting another coffee from Amici's Coffee Bar if you’re in need of more caffeine, and some croissants from Luscious Bakery Deli Cafe, and of course, going for another beach walk. While you’re out and about we recommend popping into some of our local shops just minutes from The June, like Grit and Grace and The Patch. Once you've got your caffeine and shopping fix, it’s time to say goodbye to The June.
