2) Lavender Field

You are sure to be amazed by the many cultivars of lavender that bloom from late June throughout July at Prince Edward County's Lavender Field. The sea of various shades of purple will transport you to The County version of Provence, France. For those wanting to leave with more than photos, the boutique there offers an array of handcrafted lavender products, such as essential oils, sachets, and lavender sugar. A Lavender Festival is also held each summer from featuring live music and other entertainment, however this is subject to change due to COVID-19, so stay tuned!

4) The Grange Winery

The Grange oozes historic appeal and boasts to be one of the larger vineyards in Canada, covering 60-acres of vineyards split into six distinct blocks. Being situated on a 200-year old farm adds to its rustic charm. Their wooden barn that dates back to the 1800s and the expansive grounds make it the perfect place to enjoy the Grange's picnic lunch, and visitors can feast both their eyes and taste palette. 5) Closson Chase Vineyard

Prepare to have your breath taken away once you step into the vicinity of Closson Chase Vineyard. One of the winery's distinct features is its iconic big purple barn that can be spotted from far in the distance. A flagstone walk and colourful garden will lead you to the barn's entrance. Another distinguishing building acquired by the winery is a beautiful Anglican Church, which shows off a roof made of asphalt shingles in a custom Burgundian style.

6) The Miller House Café & Brasserie

Originally built in 1769 and restored in 2013, the view from the Miller House patio overlooking the Bay of Quinte is nothing short of phenomenal. We recommend you to grab a few bites at this spot located a few steps away from the serene Lake on the Mountain, nearly 62 meters above Lake Ontario, and snap some photos of the blue sky or the magical hours of sunset.

8) Sandbanks Provincial Park
